In between playing Band World Tour with the family (already inducted into Hall of Fame, got halfway through endless setlist before parents unintentially turned off the box), I kept finding the music elsewhere:
Christmas Day - watched Live Free or Die Hard, which has only 6 songs in the credits, 2 of which are in Rock Band (Flyleaf's I'm So Sick and Creedence Clearwater Revival's Fortunate Son). Not only is that a fully 33% Rock Band saturation, but Flyleaf gets ad-cuts of its music-video spliced into the film, and Bruce Willis carries on a conversation mid-movie about how good Credence is. The director's cut just needed to show Timothy Olyphant playing plastic drums in his command center, they already have Gears footage and Killzone 2 references in the film.
Boxing Day - watched The Departed, which featured The Stones' Gimme Shelter twice, including the opening song. No one played any video games, though. :(
